Don't have a link but read on one of those rumour pages we've signed Jack Williams from the Raiders. Got Raiders NYC player of the year this year. Plays centre/second row. Highly rated.

My heart skipped a beat when i read that, but I then realized it said Jack. Phew!

Don't we have our own Jack Williams in NYC or schoolboys? Double up!

"... the cashed-up Dragons are poised to snare Vaughan on a three-year-deal worth a staggering $1.75 million."

Bloody hell!

Yeh I heard that, he's good but if in the next few years the salary cap is similar to what it is now he's not worth that, just makes me think or appreciate what Prior is for us, he deserves a big upgrade.

That's what happens when your ***** and desperate. Thankfully Flanno in our desperate times never went overly crazy with stupid contracts.. well that I can remember.

Dragons will have a good pack next year, shame their halves suck and fullback is constantly injured.

I'd love for us to grab Luciano off them.

He'll get offered silly money either by Dragons or someone else, yes for me if we pay what he is delivering, no on what he is likely to get which is based on pure expectation.

*Meh* if we're gonna go crazy on NYC players I'd much rather Nat Butcher, holy crap what a gun.

Yes please!! Only really watched the nyc finals but he was an absolute standout. Bring him in as Gals replacement.

As long as we recruit forwards that tackle I'm happy to be honest. I don't care if they run out of the line and put on hits like Prior, or if they flop 50 tackles a game, it's all good. No big slobs who only make hitups please.

So play money ball with Vaughan on 580k versus Starling on probs 280k (guess), and I know which one I'd recruit. No way Vaughans contribution would add up to the extra dollars.

In your head, rent free
to be fair, vaughan will probably play origin if given an extended run

i would be all over him, regardless of salary, $450k next year is a bargain and he gets familiar with out squad/structure/coach/lifestyle

we then lose gal, heino and lewy and he will need to take on more responsibility

i doubt stuart releases him to us though

Starling would be one squad filler money. Less than $200k. He didn't have any NRL bites up until a fortnight ago.

Get both if you can.
