    Official 2024 State of Origin

Thought it might be useful to pop this up as the discussion seems to be spread all over the place.

Match 2024 NRL Round 1 New Zealand Warriors v Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks 7:50 pm Friday 8 March @ Go Media Stadium, Auckland

Thought I'd get this started as a place to discuss what we think the Rd 1 team will look like now we are just over a week from team lists.

    2023 NRL Round 26 Newcastle Knights v Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, 4:05PM Sunday 27th August @ McDonald Jones Stadium

Great opportunity to keep the momentum going. Knights are flying high and need to keep winning to secure their spot. Interesting stat, they have scored the 2nd most tries this year, us the 3rd, so we could be up for lots of points. Ponga has done us dirty a few times so I'd love nothing more...

2022 NRL Round 19 Cronulla Sutherland Sharks vs. Penrith Panthers @ BlueBet Stadium, Penrith, Saturday 23rd July 5:30pm

New week new thread. This will be our first real "where are we at" game since we played Melbourne in round 6. Only major change we are likely to see is who takes that right wing spot. Considering they will be coming up against Taylan May, I'm not sure which way it will go. If To'o was still...

2022 NRL Round 10 (Magic Round) - Cronulla Sutherland Sharks Vs Canberra Raiders @ Suncorp Stadium, Sunday 15th of May 1.50pm

Game 6 for magic round, so the field is likely to be torn up a bit for us. Made worse with some wet weather predicted for SE QLD. If we can get through this with a win and no injuries we can be happy. Turn up like last week and we should dust them by 20. No Wighton for them. No Ramien and...

    Official Briton Nikora

Congrats on the debut. Hope he lives up to the hype and tears shreds this season outside of SJ.

    Official Blayke Brailey

Couldn't find an official thread for the kid. Looking good for a spot on the bench this year according to an article on the nrl website. Keen to see him get a run.

    2019 Line up

I know 2018 is barely cold yet, but thought it might be a change of pace to discuss what the team looks like next year. With Leutele, Ramien, Lee, Lewis, Paulo and maybe seggy moving on, our team will look very different and may freshen up the joint a bit. Add to that Wade is likely to miss the...

NRL Round 20 2018, Cronulla Sutherland Sharks vs. Brisbane Broncos Thursday 26th July 2018 7:50pm @ Suncorp Stadium

Huge game for our top 4 aspirations. Can potentially put a two win gap on the broncos. Also saints play the chooks so we could be outright 4th or equal third with a win. Pangai Junior on an edge is the danger player, hopefully he copped a knock last week and doesn't play.
  13. Proud Shark

    Official Jack Williams

Couldn't see an official thread for this bloke anywhere, feel free to delete this one if I'm mistaken. I was very impressed with his debut. Ran hard with 9 runs for 87m. 33/36 tackles and backed up well around the ruck for which he was rewarded with a try. Most importantly he just looked hungry...

Who should we look at for 2017?

With the 'November 1st' negotiation period fast approaching, and a quickly aging forward pack for 2016, who should we be looking ahead to sign? I know it's early, but bear in mind that the contracts of DCE, Foran and Merrin were all hot topic and up for grabs this time last year. In regards to...
