You really are a ****ing idiot aren't you, how do you know what he is going through? What else is going on in his life
Think before you type numbnuts

your stupidly astounds me, just because they earn good money doing the thing they love doesn't mean they don't have the right to be depressedWhatever it is mate it could always be worse. If he's depressed he can afford to get the best council in the Australia if not the World, how the **** does he need your support, these athletes are put on a pedestal. Trust me when I say this, there lives aren't anything to be depressed about.

There is more to life than just sport and money, there are so many factors out there that you wouldn't have a clue of that he may be going through so don't sit there bull ****ting and act like you know what other people are going through
Maybe he lost someone close to him recently, who knows, we all don't, that includes you but to sit there and say he has nothing to be depressed about is just idiotic. You need to wake up to yourself
You are a heartless bastard aren't you.
Why? Cos a rich, famous, centralized figure in our society is having life issues and I refuse to add to the public outcry of empathy.
Maybe I volunteer, maybe I donate a lot of my pittance of a wage, you know to people that are suffering REAL problems, maybe I've got a bigger heart then you think, I'm just not an idiot.
Don't you think that there is something inherently wrong in our physcology that we struggle to pay money out of our small wages to buy what these people sell, making them stupidly rich in the process and then feel sorry for them when they hit a bump in the road.. **** no, not me.
well said mate, spot onTake away the fact that he is footballer. He still is human being.
The fact that it's in the media may also help someone else go and seek advise and get help.
After what I've just experienced I wouldn't wish this on anyone this effects family, friends and anyone around you.
I just hope they get the care and advise that they need
have you ever suffered depression? because its a ****ing terrible place to beWhy? Cos a rich, famous, centralized figure in our society is having life issues and I refuse to add to the public outcry of empathy.

Ok your missing my point.

i didnt call you a retardNo not to that degree.
But that doesn't stop the following statement as ring complete common sense.
If you are depressed were would you rather be, in Andrew Fifitas shoes or your own, he has access to the best facilities in the world, plenty of people in today's ****house society deserve your empathy, he is most certainly not one of them.
Ps calling me a retard just confirms to me that you have no argument to make.

I agree to an extent, but on the flip side, would Fifita want every man and his dog to know of his own issues? Probably not. I wouldnt. Those close to you yes but not strangers etc. I know he is high profile so his story has the opportunity to reach others who may benefit from it, but does it assist Andrew himself? Probably not.
Its never a case of looking at your life and saying, 'nah **** it i have nothing' its an overwelming feeling of worthlessness that brings with it lack of motivation and emotion.
Its not like people choose to be depressed. Go to some of the countries with less mod cons than us and look at the people, they are happier than we are. Its not about what you have in your life. Its a chemical reaction in your brain. It doesnt matter what colour, gender, nationality, religion or age you are it could get you.
note: ive never had depression but ive seen the effects of some serious bouts of it first hand

I understand how it works as a disease mate, all I'm saying is heart felt stories about rich footballers apparently **** lives does not make me feel sorry for them, in fact the complete opposite.
All the heros rushing to his defense need to figure out that Fifita ain't rushing to there aid anytime soon.
The rich get richer, if they stumble we catch them because we idolize them, the poor get poorer, we stumble and we fall into an abyss.
If you think the world works any other way than you are thick.
