Dykes circling more Sharks action after 553-day hiatus
He would have preferred a better overall performance and a more satisfying result, but Sharks fullback Kade Dykes was just pleased to finish his first game in 18 months.

Well they were talking trials then mentioned the Penrith bloke getting hurt in WCC then Wade said like "yeah it sucks, we had young Kade Dykes do a hammy after coming off an ACL".

*Never mind, just checked. He must have been a late scratching. Has been named at 6 this week with Atkinson playing firsts.

Can Kade play 5/8 or is he thought of as strictly a fullback? What sort of natural speed does he have? His Dad, Adam was a terrific player for the Sharks, Kade looks a bit bigger, does he have some comparable skills?

"My preference is probably fullback because I've spent the last couple of years there now and I’m starting to learn more and more about it," he said.

"I grew up playing in the halves also so I’d be pretty confident playing there as well.
