Part of picking Trindall is to take over all of the number 7 duties. He ain't gonna play 6
No way Hynes loses the 7 shirt to Trindell

he'll have to learn to play 6 because we have the best 7 in the compHe would be judged like a 23 year old half back. There will be mistakes.
Also, he would need to be 7, he isn’t a 6 at all.
Hynes is more of a 6 then a halfback. He loves to run and play second receiver, kicking game isn’t that consistent for halfbackhe'll have to learn to play 6 because we have the best 7 in the comp
For the record also I think that’s why we struggle and are basically rubbish against top teamshe'll have to learn to play 6 because we have the best 7 in the comp
These days 6 and 7 are interchangeable and swap over a lot.he'll have to learn to play 6 because we have the best 7 in the comp
Bit like Thurston, didn't matter if he had 6 or 7 on his back.I think Nicho is a league of his own when it comes to what his best position is, and how halves can play in the modern game.
It really doesn’t matter what number you put on his back, he just has the licence to be wherever he wants, when he wants. No one in the competition plays both sides of the field better than him. I think it’s pretty clear how influential his time playing fullback has been, especially in a team like the storm.
I think the best way to continue getting the best out of Nicho is to partner him with a half that is able to take on the general game management duties, or at the very least shoulder half of that burden effectively.
He still would be the chief in the side, be the first port of call when asking for the ball, but he won’t need to be in all places, at all times. And frankly, it doesn’t matter what number he has on his back, or his partner has.
I know ancient history is your thing so I'll help you out with maths mate......the difference is 1.Is there really that much difference between 6 and 7.
Dally M says yes you are right, but he isn’t the best 7 in the comphe'll have to learn to play 6 because we have the best 7 in the comp
There can be. Depends who is at your club.Is there really that much difference between 6 and 7.

If you’re picking a team out of Reynolds, Cleary , DCE , Hunt, Moses… every one of those guys are taking the 7 jersey all day everyday over HynesIs that why Cleary was picked ahead of him
Cleary was picked cos Fittler has NFIIs that why Cleary was picked ahead of him
I would pick all of those guys, and then Hynes at 6If you’re picking a team out of Reynolds, Cleary , DCE , Hunt, Moses… every one of those guys are taking the 7 jersey all day everyday over Hynes
Hynes would be given the 6
