if he is staying then he is a bit part player, he cannot be in our strongest 17
although, we are dumb AF if we elect to keep him for another year

He's decent depth if he wants the role
Rudolf, Hunt, BHU, Williams, Graham/Colquhoun/Hazelton
Finucane, McInnes, Graham
Nikora, Wilton, Talakai, Graham
Just seems the only person who’s opinion actually matters in this situation seems to rate what he brings to the side. I really think your going to see Wade in his starting 13 round 1 next season barring injury. Me and you might not agree with that but we’re just fans at the end of the day.if he is staying then he is a bit part player, he cannot be in our strongest 17

Nobody is required depth until you require themDont think he is required depth to be honest. By next year either Hazelton or Colquhoun are going to be ready to be given some games if there are injuries.
Need 4 props & 4 lock/second row per game (allowing 2 props & 1 lock/second row on the bench)
Already Signed Props - Rudolf, Hunt, BHU, Kaufusi, Hazelton, Colquhoun - 6 props meaning 2 extra to cover injury
Already Signed Locks/2nd Row - Finucane, Mcinnes, Nikora, Wilton, Williams, (Colquhoun & Talakai if needed) - 5 locks/second row (potential of up to 7), meaning potentially 3 extra to cover injury

Wade has now managed almost everything in the game.Wade recognised with prestigious RLPA award

He would of announced his retirement by now. He’s going around again next year. Just hope it’s not for us.Wade has now managed almost everything in the game.
A good time to take a step back perhaps?
You have to wonder whether Teig actually wants to stay past next year? He has been great at getting on with things without any fuss after they dumped Morris, but I can't imagine he feels any huge loyalty to the club either. Would be a good Nov 1 signing for the DragonsTeig might find himself the unlucky one in all of this unless we keep Talakai in at centre. Which I don't really want to have to do.
If Talakai did stay centre, then Wade and Teig interchange. McInness for Finucane. BHU for Hunt. Kaufusi for Toby? Though that's a four forward bench...
Feels like you need another 80 minute player in that mix so you can carry a utility, which really should be one of Wade or Teig. Teig is only 22 and surely Wade only has one year left in him if he's staying.
It's a good point, though I think I heard somewhere that he has a bit of a man crush on Wade... quick google search turned up this article, which makes it sound like he might favour staying https://www.youngwitness.com.au/story/6849264/proud-coach-morris-hands-nephew-nrl-debut/You have to wonder whether Teig actually wants to stay past next year? It really shouldn’t be hard. Wade should be shown the door - Fitz first and biggest mistake was putting Wade straight back into the starting line up and shifting Teig to the bench.. Fitz basically left himself no choice..Teig might find himself the unlucky one in all of this unless we keep Talakai in at centre. Which I don't really want to have to do.

Fitz has a really interesting pre-season in front of him... there's a queue of players for spots and not many have locked theirs down this year. Feels like another rebuild year ahead!
I don't disagree mate. I think Fitz found himself in a tricky situation (as tricky as the Tricky situation) at the time with it being the club captain. Teig's great early form has really made this harder than you would have thought it would be because really, Wade should have walked back into his starting spot, and without a firing Teig it would be a no brainer. It really shouldn’t be hard. In his mind he is not going anywhere I guess ..Doesn’t sound like he’s going anywhere

He'd back himself to have a big preseason and wind back the clock next year. Whether it happens or not is another question...In his mind he is not going anywhere I guess ..
