His long kicks? I didn't notice that.I thought he lacked a lot of depth on his kicks last night.
As I've said though his bombs are far too one dimensional.

On top of that, it's his first year at this position. He strikes me as a bloke who wants to continuously improve himself. The intentionally contestable ones?
I’d love him to be able to send it like Cleary/Burton and 40/20 like Hunt but not every half in the NRL is the master of every kick
Towards the end of the game they were contested but often we were landing those field position ones on the 20-30. Execution wise, either we didn't contest when we were supposed to, which isn't Nicho's fault, or they should have been landing deeper. The intentionally contestable ones?

Yeah, I found the placement of those kicks a bit confusing. We were happy to give up field position to try and contest the ball. I'm not expecting him to be Cleary/Burton as he isn't there with his boot.
Agree . It finally cost us the game .Yeah, I found the placement of those kicks a bit confusing. We were happy to give up field position to try and contest the ball. As a gameplan it really didn't work
If you watch him during our games he is everywhere doing everything, it’s crazy how he can even think where and how to kick let alone organise a team by the end of it.Agree . It finally cost us the game .
Also got caught on 5th tackles close to lime instead of playing the Cleary long game & getting a repeat set .
either we let Trindall have a go next year or if we don’t and coach goes with Moylan he needs to do a lot more off and on the ball so Hynes our strike player can actually pick his moments and save energy or we will be in this same exact spot next year.He needs a half that can take some of the kicking responsibility off him.
No it didn't - woeful defence gifting them tries did.Agree . It finally cost us the game .

Some bad drops didn't help either...No it didn't - woeful defence gifting them tries did.
yeah just opinionthe 1 or 6 is their opinion yeh? because he has said multiple times he came to us as he wanted to play 7 (like he did at Manly) and fitz wanted him as the 7
I think Snowman is saying never believe a podcaster.yeah just opinion
I think anyone saying he should be our one or six is massively undervaluing the fact he wants to be 'the man' and playing 7.the 1 or 6 is their opinion yeh? because he has said multiple times he came to us as he wanted to play 7 (like he did at Manly) and fitz wanted him as the 7
Nicho has kicked less than Chad, Burton, DCE and Moses. Not like he's the only half who is a sides dominant kicker.Anyone listen to this?
Listen from 153:40
Notes:
- best position 1 or 6
- kicked 24 / 27 kicks
50% of podcasting is bullshit and the other 50% is liesI think Snowman is saying never believe a podcaster.
yeh i dont get why people are shocked our predominant kicker, is kicking more than the guy we bag for not being able to kickI think anyone saying he should be our one or six is massively undervaluing the fact he wants to be 'the man' and playing 7.
He wants to play 7, he wants the responsibility, he wants to touch the ball most plays, he wants to take kicks, he wants to direct the team.
And he's going to go close to a Dally M in his first year as a 7 doing all that.

Sorted by average Cleary jumps to #1 and Reynolds and Hunt join the top of the list too, Hynes falls to 8th.
Yes Matt sits 29th by average kicks of players who have played 12 or more games but guess what he's still ahead of DBrown, Flanno, Luai, Dearden and more.
The kicking disparity between our 7 and 6 is not some diabolical outrageous thing we are doing wrong compared to everyone else.
