Cook sometimes go all the way through to the tryline though and scores. I think Cooks first instinct is look for the tryline then pass if not on but it's the opposite for Brailz who shits himself at the sign of a defender and cant wait to get rid of the hot potato.
Sometimes, yeah
Cook has 23 tries in 153 games, including a hat trick against the bulldogs the other week. That's a strike rate of 1 try every 6-7 games.
Api has 20 in 151, a try every 7-8 games
Blayke has 9 in 67, a try every 7-8 games.
These guys are not streaking away for tries at some excessive rate. Yeah Cook probably has more long range tries than Blayke but not by some spectacular margin. More often he is getting try assists or line break assists, which is what Blayke is trying to find. He doesn't quite have the pace himself to sneak through the gap as much though, so does more of his ball playing before the line.
Grant has 11 from 37, a try every 3-4 games, but a stack of those are close rangers. I'd assume the vast vast majoirty.
