In a nutshell , what improvements are we getting in regard to the ground ?
It’ll just feel good to have it back

Yeah I'd take that with a grain of salt. NRL have said before that if we finished top 4 we would could, and then they've also said we couldn't.
They change eligibility on the fly to suit their agenda. And it's not just us, they have done it to other clubs too.
They've even offered to play a semi at Penrith despite the fact Panthers haven't been near the top for in ages
And we are still interested in your views on where we should take our games so please take this final opportunity to email us on members@sharks.com.au
We need to finalise this decision soon so we can inform the NRL before they do the draw for 2020.
Oh for sure. I mean Gal also said he was told we need 13k crowd to break even.. Dino told us it was 16.5k. The fact Gal has put out a fluff piece at all is a weird mix of alarming yet reluctant comfort.
But all that aside if Sharks were able to secure an agreement that our proposed renos would see Shark Park hosting home semis I think that'd go a long way to getting fans to suck it up a bit more.
Traditionally it has always been 12000-12500 break even crowd, even when D.Irvine was President. Dino saying 16500 went against the what was generally accepted before hand. Don't know if he just got the figure wrong or cost have gone through the roof?

Inflation
12500 increased to 16500 in that amount of years?
Inflation hasn't got reached 3% for at least 10 years.

I'd like to see a few games moved to the Sunshine Coast. I've got a place up tgat way I'd use for sure.
Happy with this allocation... best possible outcome for fans and players. And will book the Sunshine Coast the day the draw comes out! After consultation with Sharks members, the Cronulla board has chosen Netstrata Jubilee Stadium for 11 of its home games next season.
Henson Park was looked at, as was Darwin, Wollongong, Bankwest Stadium, and even overseas prior to the decision being made to play all but one home fixture at the home ground of St George Illawarra.
The 12th home game will be at Sunshine Coast Stadium in Queensland, where the Rabbitohs hosted the Warriors in round five this year.
